Fusion Consulting is seeking a Data Migration Consultant to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transition of data across projects. You will be responsible for shaping and executing strategies for data cleansing and migration, working collaboratively across diverse teams. Your expertise in data structure classifications, project management, and SAP systems will be critical in driving successful data migration projects.

What you will be doing:

Define data cleansing and migration strategy and track progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Plan and oversee the creation of data extracts from local systems and manage Data Load Cycles.
Monitor the creation of all Data Migration related documentation, managing escalations, and ensuring availability, correctness, and completeness.
Coordinate the dedicated Data Migration Developer team and report to the Project Lead while aligning with the Central Data Migration Manager.
Support the creation of test specifications and preparation of test data, including setting up testing environments.
Define User Interface requirements, business processes, and workflow requirements.
Conduct GAP analysis, participate in requirements gathering sessions, and document meeting minutes, findings, decisions, and action items.
Define Data Design and Governance, including data requirements, definitions, validations, cleansing rules, deduplication, and exception handling rules for MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operation) Materials and Chart of Accounts Master Data Management etc.

What we are looking for:

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Data Migration within global SAP projects.
Strong understanding of data structure classifications, BPM workflows, and CRUD processes.
Project Management skills with full lifecycle development experience.
Proficiency in Data Migration relevant tools such as SOLMAN, HPQC, BISM, MS Project, and IDSS Tool.
Ability to apply MDM concepts across various technology platforms.
Hands-on experience with data quality, data profiling, and metadata management.
Deep SAP skills including configuration and process knowledge.
Experience in managing Global SAP Roll-out/Implementation Projects with international teams.
Proficiency in testing, customer support, training, and providing Key-User-Trainings.
Strong communication skills in English and proficient in German.
